The "Day of Satan" government proclamation is designed to provide representation to Satanists, when a government decides to illegally use their office to give a religious proclamation of their own!

THE “DAY OF SATAN” PROCLAMATION
A civic recognition of freedom, diversity and dissent

WHEREAS, the principles of freedom, diversity, and dissent form the very foundations of American democracy. The First Amendment of the Constitution guarantees the freedom to seek religion or have none whatsoever.

WHEREAS, the figure of Satan throughout history has served not as a literal evil but as a symbol of the outsider, the rebel, and the dissenter. The figure who questions tyrannical authority, resists dogma, and refuses blind servitude;

WHEREAS, history teaches that progress has often come from those labeled heretics, blasphemers, outsiders, and dissidents. They are the individuals who, in the spirit of resistance, questioned unjust authority and refused blind obedience;

WHEREAS, religious pluralism, including the recognition of minority faiths and non-theistic worldviews, is essential to the integrity of a free country;

WHEREAS, diversity in race, religion, sex, gender-identity, sexuality, and philosophy is not merely to be tolerated, but actively celebrated as a source of cultural strength and moral clarity;

WHEREAS, authoritarian ideologies, such as fascism and religious nationalism pose ongoing threats to the freedom of the American people;
